OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss senior second baseman Brad Henderson and junior outfielder Michael Rosamond have been named to the 1999 All-Southeastern Conference teams.
Henderson earned first team All-SEC honors, while Rosamond was named to the All-SEC second team.
"I am very proud of Brad and Michael," Ole Miss head coach Pat Harrison said. "Brad has been a steady performer all season for us and Michael has made tremendous strides with his hitting and is becoming one of the top outfielders in collegiate baseball."
Henderson leads the Rebels with a .374 batting average and a .414 average in conference games. Henderson is the Rebels' all-time leader in hits (285), doubles (57), total bases (466) and runs scored (190).
It was the second time for Henderson to be named to the All-SEC team. The Tupelo, Miss., native earned second team honors last year.
Rosamond, from Madison, Miss., garnered his first all-conference honors with a .304 batting average and a team-high 17 home runs. Rosamond also set a team single-game record and tied an NCAA and SEC record with three triples against the University of New Orleans earlier this season.
Ole Miss concluded the 1999 regular season with a 32-24 overall record and a 17-13 conference mark. The Rebels will take on Alabama on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the first round of the SEC Tournament at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Birmingham, Ala.
