Fontenot, Barnett Finish Fourth and Fifth at Cannon IV Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Freshman Emily Fontenot and Brandy Barnett placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the high jump to pace the Lady Rebels at this weekend's Cannon IV Classic in Indianapolis.
The meet was the last for Ole Miss before the Rebels and Lady Rebels compete at the SEC Indoor Championships, Feb. 28 - March 1 at Baton Rouge, La.
Other top performers on the women's side included Latoria Jordan finishing sixth in the long jump with a leap of 19-5.75 and was also seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 38-6.5. Tisha Parker also was seventh in the long jump with a mark of 19-5.5.
On the men's side, Marcus Jones finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 47-8.25 and Jon Parry was fifth in the long jump at 23-4.25.
