Harrison Pleased With Thursday's Fall Baseball Intra-squad Scrimmage

OXFORD, Miss. - Junior outfielder Michael Rosmaond went 2-for-2 at the plate to highlight Thursday's Ole Miss baseball intra-squad scrimmage at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
Led by Rosamond's two hits, the White squad defeated the Blue 5-2.
Third-year head coach Pat Harrison was pleased with hitters performance at the plate and the overall aggressive style of play his team showed.
"I was real happy with the way our team swung the bats and how aggressive we played today," Harrison said. "Our batters were aggressive and our pitchers did a good job going after the batters. The pitchers also displayed a good command of their pitches."
Freshman left-hander Joel Lyons and freshman right-hander Cooper Campbell combined for four scoreless innings for the White, and allowed just one hit between the two.
Sophomores Robert Shelton and John Massey, freshman Clint Farrar and junior college transfer Sim Shanks all recorded RBIs for the White team. Sophomore transfer Banks Robinson and senior Chad Mead drove in a run apiece for the Blue.
The Rebels will scrimmage will hold an evening scrimmage tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. at Oxford- University Stadium/Swayze Field.
