Lady Golfers Tied for Fifth at SECs

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--The Ole Miss women's golf team shot a 311 in the second round of the SEC Women's Golf Championships on Saturday and is tied for fifth with a 615 total.
Georgia, the defending SEC champion, leads the tournament with a 295-297--592, followed by Alabama with a 298-305--603. Ole Miss, which shot a 304 in the first round, is tied for fifth with Tennessee. Reilley Rankin of Georgia leads the individual field with a 72-71--143.
Robyn Rinaldo, a sophomore from Dade City, Fla., is tied for 14th with a 73-79--152. Anna Kirchner, a junior from Spring, Texas, is tied for 19th with a 76-78--154.
Megan Breen, a junior from Longwood, Fla., is tied for 24th with a 76-79--155. Freshman Marci Kornegay of Savannah, Ga., fired a 75 and moved up from a tie for 53rd to tie for 34th. Senior Lauren Mellen of Orlando, Fla., is tied for 38th with a 79-81--160.
The Lady Rebels, who have finished in the top 10 in all nine tournaments and have seven top five finishes, will play the final round of the SEC Championships at the Riverchase Country Club on Sunday.
