No. 14 Arkansas Defeats Ole Miss in Volleyball

OXFORD, Miss. - No. 14 Arkansas defeated Ole Miss 15-7, 15-2, 15-7 in Southeastern Conference volleyball action Saturday at the Women's Multi-Sport Complex in Oxford, Miss. Arkansas improved to 22-3 overall and 12-1 in the SEC, while Ole Miss dropped to 9-20 on the year and 2-11 in the SEC.
Ole Miss was led by Kari Elggren and Kira Zschau with eight kills each, followed by Lauren Dorcheus with six. Danielle Atzinger led the Lady Rebels in digs with seven, while Zschau chipped in five and Elggren and Renata Nowacki added four.
Kim Storey led Arkansas with 11 kills and nine digs, followed by Jamie Rohme added 10 kills and Yarleen Santiago eight. Ning Zhao recorded eight digs.
Ole Miss returns to action Thursday as the Lady Rebels host Mississippi State at 7 p.m. in the final home match of the year for Ole Miss. The Lady Rebels travel to Mississippi State on Nov. 15 for a 12:30 p.m. match televised by Fox Sports South.
