Ole Miss Drops Two At Reebok Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. - The Ole Miss Rebels lost the first two games of the Reebok Invitational on Tuesday, 6-3 to Temple and 4-3 to Robert Morris.
The Rebels, playing their ninth game in six days, fell to 14-6 overall with the losses and have now dropped three straight after winning a team record nine consecutive games.
In game one, Temple trailed 3-2 but rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh to pullout the come-from-behind victory. Starting pitcher Kari Ceriani lost her first game of the season giving up four runs, two unearned, on six hits.
Shortstop Mandy Shklar drove in two runs with a single and center fielder Stephanie Vaglica drove in another with a single in the second inning for the Rebels.
In game two, Eileen Czechanski's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth scored the game winning run for Robert Morris.
Jennifer Hughes, who came on in relief in the sixth inning, took the loss allowing one run on three hits in three innings of work. Rachel Davenport drove in a run with her first double of the season and Allison Willrath and Korrie Kashuba each scored a run for the Rebels.
