Ole Miss Travels to Arkansas and LSU

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss volleyball team, 6-10 overall and 0-4 in the SEC, continues Southeastern Conference action this weekend as the Lady Rebels travel to Arkansas on Friday for a 7 p.m. match and to LSU Sunday at 2 p.m.

Kari Elggren, a junior from Sandy, Utah, leads Ole Miss with 195 kills, followed by Lauren Dorcheus, a junior from Houston, Texas, with 119 kills. Jaime Burns, a freshman from Englewood, Colo., has added 104 kills. Dorcheus leads the team with a .338 hitting percentage.

Danielle Atzinger, a senior from Louisville, Ky., leads the Lady Rebels in digs with 150, followed by junior Lisa Frannino of Metairie, La., with 129 and Elggren with 109. Dorcheus leads the team in blocks with 45, followed by sophomore Anna Hackbarth of Chaska, Minn., with 42 and freshman Leigh Rittiner of New Orleans, La., with 33. Frannino is first on the team in assists with 433 and in service aces with 24.

Arkansas, 12-2 overall and 4-0 in the SEC, is led by Kim Storey with 221 kills and a .431 hitting percentage. Jamie Rohme has 200 kills, and Jessica Field has 183 kills. Yarleen Santiago leads the Lady 'Backs in digs with 170, followed by Rohme with 138, Storey with 112 and Ning Zhao with 110.

LSU is 9-7 overall and 1-2 in the SEC. Kelly Thompson leads LSU in kills with 225, followed by Lauren Cuyler with 224. Thompson also leads the team in digs with 142, followed by Meg Norwood with 138.
