Ole Miss Volleyball Team Travels to Tennessee and Kentucky

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss volleyball team continues Southeastern Conference play this weekend as the Lady Rebels travel to Tennessee on Friday for a 5:30 p.m. match and to Kentucky on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Ole Miss, 6-8 overall and 0-2 in the SEC, is led by junior Kari Elggren of Sandy, Utah, with 193 kills, followed by junior Lauren Dorcheus of Houston, Texas, with 110 kills and freshman Jaime Burns of Englewood, Colo., with 103. Dorcheus also leads the team with a .360 hitting percentage.

Danielle Atzinger, a senior from Louisville, Ky., leads the Lady Rebels in digs with 138, followed by Lisa Frannino, a junior from Metairie, La., with 121. Elggren is third on the team with 105 digs.

Dorcheus is first on the team in total blocks with 43, followed by sophomore Anna Hackbarth of Chaska, Minn., with 34. Frannino leads Ole Miss in assists with 403 and in service aces with 22.

Tennessee, 7-3 on the year and 0-1 in the SEC, is led by junior Chris Jestila and freshman Ariana Wilson with 102 and 100 kills, respectively. Wilson also leads the Lady Vols with a .375 hitting percentage and 32 total blocks. Senior Mary Heinecke leads Tennessee in digs with 99.

Kentucky is 10-4 overall and 1-1 in the SEC. The Wildcats are led by junior Katie Eiserman with 182 kills and 114 digs. Senior LaTanya Webb is second in kills with 155, and Terri Crabb is second in digs with 105.
