OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss softball team will take on the Tennessee Volunteers and Kentucky Wildcats in double-headers this weekend.
The Rebels (23-22, 5-11) are in eighth place in the Southeastern Conference and holding on to the final spot for the SEC Tournament. Ole Miss trails Tennessee by two games for seventh place and holds a two game advantage over Florida for the eighth and final spot. The top eight teams in the conference will advance to the tournament which will be held in Columbus, Ga., May 13-16.
The Rebels travel to Knoxville to play the Vols (25-17, 7-9) on Friday, April 16. Game one of the double-header begins at 5:30 p.m. and game two at 7:30 p.m.
Ole Miss will then head to Lexington to take on the Wildcats (19-29, 3-9) on Sunday, April 18. Game one is slated for a 1 p.m. start with game two beginning at 3 p.m. All game times are Cental.
