Rebels Look to Rebound in Athens

Mississippi has had two weeks to think about a 34-0 drubbing by SEC power Arkansas.
It doesn't get much easier, as the Rebels (6-3, 3-3 SEC) are back in action Saturday visiting 14th-ranked Georgia.
Despite the rout by Arkansas, Mississippi coach Tommy Tuberville feels that Georgia (7-2, 5-2) is the best team the Rebels will play this season.
"We had a good open date of practice last week after a disappointing loss to Arkansas," said Tuberville. "The thing we wanted to do was give our players some time off to get back and concentrate more on their classes, and get their legs back."
The Bulldogs are coming off a 28-17 win over Auburn last Saturday. Georgia running back Olandis Gary piled up 130 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Leading the way on offense this season has been the versatile Champ Bailey.
Bailey has accounted for 1,040 all-purpose yards, leading the team in receptions with 40 for 664 yards, and averaging 23.6 yards per kickoff return, and 12.3 yards per punt return.
Georgia has lost only to top 10 teams Tennessee and Florida. Still, Georgia Coach Jim Donnan views Ole Miss as a dangerous foe.
"Give Ole Miss a lot of credit. They lost a couple of players from last year, but they've done what they've had to do to win some tight games this year. They didn't play well against Auburn and Arkansas, but they had some chances against Arkansas," Donnan said. "Nobody expected them to be as good as they are and now their in position to go to a bowl."
The Rebels are led by running back Deuce Mcallister, who has 796 yards, seven touchdowns, and a 5.3 yards-per-carry average.
Georgia won last seasons matchup, 21-14. The Rebels have won three of the last five meetings.
