OXFORD, Miss. - Robert Shelton's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to score Chad Hill lifted Ole Miss to a 7-6 win over Northeast Louisiana Tuesday evening at Oxford- University Stadium/Swayze Field.

With the win, the Rebels, ranked No. 26 in this week's Collegiate Baseball Top 30, improved to 27-19 on the year. Northeast Louisiana fell to 29-18.

Ole Miss led 6-2 going into the ninth but the Indians would rally for four runs off of reliever Cooper Campbell to tie the score. Campbell walked the first two batters of the inning and then struck out Jason Wolfe before walking Shane Russell to load the bases. Bryan Zander followed with a single to center to score Corey Artieta to make it 6-3.

In the bottom of the ninth, Hill led-off the inning with a single and advanced to second on Justin Huisman's ground out to short. After Chad Mead grounded out to the pitcher, Michael Rosamond was intentionally walked to set-up Shelton's game-winning single.

Bukvich, 1-2, was credited with the win, working 2/3 of an inning in relief.

Ole Miss starter Ronnie Goodwin went eight innings, allowing two unearned runs on eight hits and one walk, while striking out five.

Hill, Shelton, and Adam Brown also collected two hits each.

Zander went 3-for-5 to lead the Indians.

Both teams recorded 10 hits apiece.
