TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Ole Miss softball team closed out the Florida State Invitational with a 3-0 loss to the University of Toledo Sunday morning.
The Rebels gave up two runs in the bottom of the first inning and one run in the fifth as the Rocket's Amy Lukowski held Ole Miss to six hits and seven runners left on base.
Ole Miss dropped to 16-11 with the loss and finished with a 1-4 record in the tournament.
The Rebels return to Oxford to open Southeastern Conference play with a pair of double-headers against Mississippi State. The series opens Friday, March 19, with game one starting at 5 p.m., and Saturday's double-header beginning at 1 p.m.
