OXFORD, Miss. - The No. 6 nationally-ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team will host 28th-ranked Virginia Tech Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at the Women's Sports Complex or at 10:00 a.m. at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center, depending on the weather.

The Lady Rebels (3-0) are coming off a big weekend in Tucson, Ariz. in which they won the Arizona Wildcat Invitational for the second consecutive year. They defeated San Diego, Kansas State and Arizona by scores of 9-0. Senior Agnes Muzamel posted a huge win, defeating the nation's No. 1 player, from San Diego.

Junior transfer Celeste Frey leads Ole Miss with a 21-7 overall record. She became the first Lady Rebel to reach the 20-win plateau this season, when she won her match against Kansas State.

This will be the first dual match of the season for Virginia Tech, who finished the 1998 campaign with a 21-5 overall record and advanced to the NCAA East Regional Final. They ended the year ranked No. 34 in the nation. The Hokies are led by junior Antonella Pozzi and senior Majka Serafini.
