Women's Volleyball Falls to South Carolina, 3-1

OXFORD, Miss.--The Ole Miss volleyball team dropped to 6-8 overall and 0-2 in the SEC as the Lady Rebels lost to South Carolina 15-13, 13-15, 15-3, 15-11 Sunday. South Carolina improved to 13-1 on the year and 2-0 in the SEC.

The Lady Rebels were led by Kari Elggren with 22 kills and eight digs. Anna Hackbarth added nine kills, while Lisa Frannino and Danielle Atzinger chipped in nine digs apiece. Lauren Dorcheus recorded four total blocks.

Cally Plummer led South Carolina with 18 kills and 10 digs, followed by Milica Perovic with 13 kills and 11 digs. Crystal Moore added 12 kills and six digs, and Ashley Edlund recorded seven kills and 15 digs.

Ole Miss continues SEC play as the Lady Rebels travel to Tennessee on Friday. The Lady Volunteers are 6-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
