TAMPA, Fla. - The Ole Miss men's golf team is in third place after day one of the Gary Koch/Cleveland Intercollegiate being played at the Old Memorial Golf Course. The Rebels shot a two-round total of 576 (286-290) on the day. They trail the University of Florida (280-293), who is leading the tournament by five strokes.
Helping to pace the Rebels were Troy Muller, who is tied for third individually, with a 54-hole total of 142 (74-68). Andrew Medley carded a two-round total of 143 (72-71) for a tie for fifth place. Tommy Clement, who is seeing his first action of the year, shot a two-round total of 147 (74-73) for a tie for 24th place. Robert Dreyfus is tied for 31st place with score of 148 (74- 74) and Phil Caravia is in 49th place with a score of 151 (72-79).
The final round will be played on Tuesday.
