Lady Rebel Netters Fall At Tulane Classic

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Mira Radu and Karem Harboe of the Ole Miss women's tennis team did not advance to the third round of the Tulane Green Wave Classic Friday. The tournament is being played at the Goldring Tennis Complex on the campus of Tulane University.
Radu lost a hard-fought three-setter to Tulane's Joyce Bergman 7-6(6), 0-6, 6-3 in the first round. She then had to retire in her backdraw match to Viktoria Stoklasova of South Alabama.
Harboe, one of four freshmen on the Lady Rebel squad this year, rallied to beat Anneli Axsater of Tulane in the first round 6-7, 6-3, 6-0. She then lost to South Alabama's Martina Ondrejkova 7-6, 6-3 in the second round.
She will play Julie Morris of Tulane in the 5th place bracket Saturday.
