Lady Rebel Netter Advances To Quarterfinals At South Regional

MOBILE, Ala. -- Freshman Audra Adams advanced to the quarterfinals in B Division singles at the ITA South Regional Championships Saturday, at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Adams defeated Ashlee Callahan in the first round 6-2, 7-6(4) and then dominated Stefanie Leung of Alabama 6-1, 6-1 in the second round. She will face Natascha Immele in the quarterfinals.

Freshman Hanna-Katri Aalto had to default her singles match and her doubles match with Alesya Ignatieva due to an illness. In other A Division singles, Julie DeRoo lost to Anne Nguyen of Georgia 7-5, 6-4 and Mira Radu dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Mirela Vladlescu of UAB.
