Oxford, Miss. - The Ole Miss football team turned in a physical practice in their first day back from spring break on Tuesday.
Ole Miss head coach David Cutcliffe was pleased with his team's effort, particularly the receiving corps.
"I thought we had a really good day. We were very physical and I saw a lot of positive things happening out there.
"Our receivers are running good routes and they have made some plays. We need to continue improving and working hard."
The Rebels have nine days of spring practice remaining until the annual Grove Bowl.
"We're looking forward to it. But, we have a lot of work to get done between now and then," Cutcliffe added.
"We need to improve the players, not just plays. We are working on the fundamentals in each phase of the game and working on all the little things. Right now, we need to continue building on all the things we have accomplished and remain focused on getting better as a team."
The Grove Bowl will be held Saturday, April 1, at 1:30 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the Grove and at the stadium ticket office on gameday.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance by calling the Ole Miss Ticket Office at (662) 915-7167, or the Alumni Office at (662) 915-7375.
