PENSACOLA, Fla. - The No. 8 nationally-ranked Ole Miss men's tennis team downed West Florida, one of the top teams in Division II, 4-0 Thursday at the Skeeter Carson Tennis Complex. The Rebels improve to 7-2 overall.

Ole Miss won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Alexander Hartman and Anders Stenman beat Chris Lewis and David Bryant 8-3 at No. 3 doubles and then Kristofer Stahlberg and Martin Selin defeated Khairy Wasfy and Jeppe Nielsen 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.

It didn't take long for the Rebels to secure their third win in a row. Vikrant Chadha was up 3-0 at No. 1 singles on Dusan Prchlik when the Argo retired to make it 2-0 Ole Miss. Stahlberg dominated Lewis 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and Selin cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Bryant at No. 5 singles to close the deal.

With today's win, Ole Miss closed out a successful spring break after knocking off then No. 5 Tennessee 4-3 on Tuesday. The Rebels return home for a pair of matches at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center beginning with Samford Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.
