Last Time Out
The Rebels were swept by the Florida Gators in Gainesville. Florida's Nicole Kreipl hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh with two outs to give the Gators a 3-2 win in game one. In game two, the Gators scored on a squeeze play in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 1-0 victory.

The Rebels vs. Arkansas
Ole Miss 2-10 all-time against the Lady Razorbacks. The Rebels are 2-2 against Arkansas in Oxford, with both wins coming in 1998 (4-3 & 1-0). Arkansas swept the Rebels in Fayetteville last season. The Lady `Backs have outscored the Rebels 40-16 in the 12 games and have won the last five meetings. Seven of the games have been decided by two runs or less with Arkansas holding a 5-2 mark in those games.

Down to the Wire
The Rebels enter the final series of the regular season needing to win three of the four games to advance to the SEC Tournament. Ole Miss currently trails Auburn by a half-game for the eighth and final tournament spot. The Tigers are 10-19 in the SEC while the Rebels are 8-18. Three wins would put the Rebels at 11-19 and their first-ever berth in the SEC Tournament.

Rebels Tie Doubles Mark
The Rebels ripped five doubles in their 6-2 victory over Auburn on Saturday to tie the team single-game mark set in 1997 against LSU. Freshman catcher Phyllis Manley had two doubles in the game, both of which drove in a run, while Amanda Lehotak, Heather Swinney and Jamie Cummings each had one. The Rebels had 12 hits overall in the game which tied the season-high. Ole Miss also had 12 hits against Kansas and Mississippi State.

Hughes' Win Steak Snapped
With a 3-2 loss to Florida in game one on Sunday, pitcher Jennifer Hughes had her three-game win streak snapped. Over her last four starts, Hughes has a 3-1 record with a 1.18 ERA with 27 strikeouts. The 3-2 loss to the Gators was the fourth time this season Hughes has lost a game by two runs or less.

Scoring Drought
Runs have been difficult to come by for the Rebels this season. Ole Miss has only scored five or more runs 11 times this season, and only three times in the last 30 games. The Rebels are hitting .200 with runners in scoring position this season, and only .198 in SEC games. Ole Miss is averaging scoring 2.6 runs per game overall and 2.1 runs per game in SEC games.

Burris Loses Another Close One
Sunday's 1-0 loss to Florida marked the sixth game in her last nine appearances pitcher Holly Burris has lost by two runs or less. Although Burris has lost nine straight (five of those to Top 25 teams) and has a 3.72 ERA in those games, the Rebels have not provided much run support. Ole Miss has not scored more than three runs in any of those nine games and has only scored more than one run three times in that span. In addition, the Rebels have stranded 52 runners on base and committed seven errors in those eight games.
