Lady Rebel Netter Wins Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Freshman Karem Harboe of the Ole Miss women's tennis team captured the D Draw singles title at the 15th annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic Sunday, defeating South Alabama's Neinke Scheltons 6-4, 7-6.

Harboe won all three of her matches this weekend, in straight sets. In the first round, she defeated Joyce Bergman of Tulane 7-6, 6-2, and then in the semifinals, Harboe beat Yumi Ueda of Mississippi State 6-3, 6-4.

Freshman Hanna-Kaltri Aalto lost in straight sets to Martina Ondrejkova of South Alabama in the B Draw final. She finished 2-1 in her first tournament as a Lady Rebel. Junior Alesya Ignatieva dropped a 6-4, 6-0 decision to Alabama's Emmanuelle Berard in the C Draw final.
