AUBURN POSTGAME NOTES
Travaris Robinson's 41-yard return of the opening kickoff was a career-long. His previous long return was 34 yards against Florida in 1999.
With his first-quarter rushing TD, Rudi Johnson now has four on the season, surpassing Auburn's individual rushing TD leader in 1999. Rusty Williams had three rushing TDs last season.
Auburn has scored 28 points (14 per game) in the first quarter this season.
With five rushing touchdowns on the evening, Auburn has seven on the season. In 1999, Auburn had eight rushing touchdowns.
Heath Evans' touchdown run in the second quarter is his first rushing TD since the Central Florida game in 1999. It was Evans' fifth rushing touchdown of his career.
Rodney Crayton's third-quarter interception was the fifth of his career.
Rudi Johnson is the first Auburn tailback to rush for back-to-back 100-yard game since Stephen Davis ran for 100 yards in consecutive game in 1995 (Northeast Louisiana - 111, Georgia - 152).
Ole Miss' Deuce McAllister's punt return for a touchdown was the first time since 1993 that a Tiger opponent has returned a punt for a score. The Rebels' Ta'Boris Fisher returned a punt 77 yards for a score in the 1993 meeting between the two schools.
Damon Duval's 70-yard punt in the third quarter was the longest by an Auburn player since Terry Daniel's 71-yard punt against Florida in 1993.
With 339 yards rushing in two games this season, Rudi Johnson has more rushing yards than Auburn's leading rusher in 1999. Heath Evans led the Tigers in rushing last season, compiling 330 yards in 93 attempts in 11 games.
Rudi Johnson's five touchdown runs (7, 33, 70, 7, 42) this season have averaged 31.6 yards.
Under Tommy Tuberville, Auburn is 7-0 when scoring 20 or more points.
Auburn has won eight consecutive SEC openers dating back to 1993.
Auburn's 261 yards rushing marked the first time since Oct. 2, 1998 vs. Tennessee the Tigers have recorded more yards rushing than passing. The Tigers have 181 yards rushing to 123 passing against the Vols in 1998.
The Tigers' five rushing touchdowns is the most since Nov. 15, 1997, when Auburn rushed for five touchdowns against Georgia.
The Tigers' three interceptions is the most since picking off three passes against Arkansas in 1999.
Stanford Simmons recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.

Deuce McAllister finished with 104 yards rushing to surpass Dou Innocent (1991-92, 1994-95) for second-place on the Ole Miss career rushing list. McAllister now has 2,426 yards, and is 228 yards shy of Kayo Dottley's (1947-1950) school record of 2,654.
With two rushing TDs, tonight, McAllister broke Archie Manning's school career record of 25 rushing TDs. McAllister now has 27 career rushing TDs.
With 104 yards rushing, McAllister ties Dou Innocent (1991-95) for the most career 100-yard rushing games at Ole Miss with 10.
McAllister's 18 points moves him into a tie for third-place on the Ole Miss career scoring list with Tim Montz (1993-96) at 180 points.
McAllister's had 56 yards on kickoff returns which moves him into 10th on the Ole Miss career list with 756 yards.
McAllister's 87-yard punt return for a touchdown was his first career TD on a punt return. McAllister has now scored a TD rushing, receiving, on a kickoff return and a punt return in his career.
McAllister's 87-yard punt return was the eighth-longest punt return in Ole Miss history.
TEAM NOTES
Today's attendance of 52,368 is a new Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field record, breaking the previous high of 52,122 set against Alabama in 1999. It is also marks the largest on-campus crowd to watch a college football game in the state of Mississippi.
Ole Miss is now 19-2 in night games, since lights were installed at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in 1990.
Junior fullback, Charles Stackhouse, had a career long rush of 30-yards in the second quarter.
Les Binkley's missed extra point was his first at Ole Miss, and broke a string of 45 consecutive made extra points, which was the third-longest streak in school history.
