Lady Rebel Netters Tied For 19th In Nation

OXFORD, Miss. ? - The Ole Miss women's tennis team is tied for 19th in the latest edition of the ITA WingspanBank.com national rankings, released Wednesday. The Lady Rebels (5-1) are coming off a road trip that included three matches in four days.

The first ranking is a team-only ranking. The first individual rankings of the spring will be released Feb. 9.

The Lady Rebels are among six SEC teams to be ranked in the nation's top 25 including Georgia (No. 2), Florida (No. 3), Vanderbilt (No. 11), Tennessee (No. 17) and LSU (No. 23).

Ole Miss is coming off a disappointing 4-0 loss to BYU on Monday. It was their third match in four days that also included back-to-back wins over New Mexico (4-0) and Kansas State (4-0).

The Lady Rebels return to action Feb. 10 as they begin SEC play against Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. at the Gillom Sports Center.
