FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Ole Miss' Lindley Beckman fired a bullet from 25 yards away in double-overtime to give the Rebels a 2-1 Southeastern Conference road win over Arkansas Sunday. The Rebels even their SEC record at 1-1, while improving to 6-5-1 overall on the season.

Beckman, a freshman from Anchorage, Ky., dribbled out of a crowd above the right top of the box and ripped a ball to the upper left corner of the net for the game-winner at 106:29. Fellow freshman Mary Katherine Ulmer earned the assist.

"What a great win," said Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman. "The best part of today's game is how the team showed resilience. We played as a team and executed the game plan perfectly. Our main objective now is to carry this momentum into the rest of SEC play."

In a return to her hometown, Rebel junior Anna Sanders opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Sanders, who spent her prep years at Fayetteville High School, turned and connected with the bottom left corner of the net from 15 yard away for her second goal of the season. Sophomore Tiffany Weiss picked up the assist.

The Razorbacks would knot the game at 1-1 in the 53rd minute with Julie Williford punching in a Pam Pesnell pass from four yards in front.

In a physical game that had more fouls than shots, fouls totaled 16-16, and Arkansas (4-7, 1-1 SEC) collected three yellow cards. Ole Miss held a 14-9 shot advantage.

All four of the Ole Miss-Arkansas games at Lady 'Back Field have ended in a 2-1 score, with Ole Miss coming out on top three times. The Rebels move to 2-0-1 in overtime games this year.

Ole Miss continues SEC play next weekend with a key homestand against Alabama and Auburn. The Rebels host the Crimson Tide Friday at 7 p.m. CST, and Auburn Sunday at 1.
