FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Aaron Harper scored 18 points and Mississippi beat Wichita State 80-68 Sunday for fourth place in the Top of the World Classic.
Harper hit a pair of 3-pointers and two free throws during a 10-1 run that made it 28-20. He had 15 points in the first half.
The Rebels (2-1) extended their lead to 56-37 with just under 15 minutes remaining. Ole Miss shot 28-for-46 (.603) for the game.
Wichita State (1-2) closed to 70-61 behind Randy Burns' 15 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, with three minutes left.
C.C. McFall scored 14 for the Shockers.
