Lady Rebels Travel To Middle Tennessee

OXFORD, Miss. - ,The Ole Miss women's basketball (4-1) team will head to Murfreesboro, Tenn., on Saturday, to take on Middle Tennessee (2-2) at 2 p.m. (CT). The Lady Rebels enter the game fresh off a 101-57 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Tuesday night at Tad Smith Coliseum.

In the win over UALR, Ole Miss had four players in double figures, led by senior center Saundra Jackson with a career-high 24 points. Jackson made 7-of-10 shots from the field and 10- of-11 shots from the free throw line. Freshman guard Ally Kelly had 18 points and seven steals. Senior guard Von Kirk and freshman guard Carletta Brown chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Ole Miss was led on the boards by sophomore forward Tywanna Inmon with nine. Inmon also contributed nine points and a career-high five assists. Senior guard Sherika Wright had a career-high nine assists and freshman forward/center Amber Watts had four blocks.

Ole Miss will play at home again on Dec. 4, when they host Vermont at Tad Smith Coliseum. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT).
