No. 10 Ole Miss Downs Arkansas, 4-1

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. - The #10 ranked Ole Miss men's tennis team got its SEC portion of the season off to a good start with a 4-1 win over Arkanasas at the UA Indoor Facility.
The Rebels (6-2, 1-0) got off to a quick start by winning the doubles point when Ole Miss' James Shortall and Kristofer Stahlberg defeated Arkansas' Oskar Johansson and Henrik Tofft, 9-8 in a tie breaker. Alex Hartman and Patrick Chucri defeated the Razorbacks' Magnus Kullenberg and Eddie Pacheco, 8-2. The Rebels's lone loss in doubles came when Arkansas' Aleksey Bubis and Oggie Kolev defeated Paul Ciorascu and Conor Casey, 8-4.
In No. 1 singles, Ole Miss' Alex Hartman was defeated by Oskar Johansson 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
But Ole Miss got wins from Shortall, who defeated Tofft 7-6, 6-2 in No. 2 singles. Stahlberg defeated Tiago Azevedo 6-3, 6-4 in No. 3 singles. In No. 4 singles, Martin Selin defeated Kullenberg, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 to wrap up the victory for the Rebels.
The Rebels will be back in action on March 2nd, when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
