ARIZONA GAME TIME CHANGE: Ole Miss' game on Sat., March 3 versus Arizona in Oxford has been changed from 1 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., due to the Ole Miss-Alabama men's basketball game scheduled for 3 p.m., at Tad Smith Coliseum.

FREE BASEBALL: Ole Miss faculty and staff can attend three upcoming Ole Miss baseball games for free: Tues. vs. UT-Martin (6:30 p.m.), Fri., March 9 vs. Kentucky (6:30 p.m.) and Wed., Mar. 14 vs. Murray State (6:30 p.m.). MAYOR'S TROPHY TICKETS: Tickets for the March 28 Mayor's Trophy game versus Mississippi State can be purchased by calling 1-601-981-1414 or sending a check to: OVERTIME SPORTS, 1200 LAKELAND DRIVE, JACKSON, MS 39216. Ticket prices are $10 for grandstand chairback and $6 for all other seats.

LAST TIME OUT: Sophomore Chad Sterbens went 4-for-5 and junior RHP Pete Montrenes pitched eight strong innings to earn his third straight win as Ole Miss pounded Louisiana Tech, 14-4, Friday night in the first of a three-game weekend series. Montrenes allowed four runs on six hits and two walks, and registered eight strikeouts. The two runs the Bulldogs plated in the fifth snapped Montrenes' scoreless-inning streak at 16 2/3. Ole Miss broke a 6-2 game open with a five-run seventh inning as the first five batters of the inning reached base safely. Nine different Ole Miss players recorded at least one hit each as the Rebels out-hit the Bulldogs 13-7. Louisiana Tech starter Derek Brewster was charged with the loss, allowing four runs, two earned, on three hits and three walks.

SERIES INFO: Today's game marks the 34th all-time meeting between the Rebels and Bulldogs dating back to 1912 ... Ole Miss leads the series 24-9 ... The Rebels have won four straight in the series, including sweeping last year's three-game set in Oxford ... This weekend's series are the first meetings between the two teams in Ruston since since 1990 when La. Tech won 1-0 ... Ole Miss is 14-6 versus La. Tech in Oxford, 9-3 in Ruston, and are 1-0 in Jackson, Miss. ... In the all-time series, Ole Miss has outscored Louisiana Tech 177-101.

OLE MISS VS. THE SUN BELT: Louisiana Tech is the second team from the Sun Belt Conference Ole Miss has faced this season. The Rebels are 3-1 versus the Sun Belt this season, winning 2-of-3 from Arkansas-Little Rock to open the season (2/10-12) and winning Friday night against Louisiana Tech.
