OXFORD, Miss. -
Ole Miss head football coach David Cutcliffe appeared to be pleased with the Rebel's first full scrimmage of the spring, held Saturday in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field marking the Rebels' ninth practice of the spring.
"I was pleased with how physical we were on both sides of the ball," said Cutcliffe. "I was pleased with how the number one defense held the offense to two field goals. One player that stood out to me was running back Tremaine Turner. He ran hard and did a good job today."
Highlights from the scrimmage included a 10-yard touchdown run by Turner, a two-yard TD catch by Bo Hartsfield from quarterback David Morris, a one-yard TD run by Robert Williams, and Bill Flowers with a 22-yard touchdown catch from Morris.
The Rebels have six practices remaining including the March 31st Grove Bowl. Kickoff for the Grove Bowl is 1 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field.
