Lady Rebel Golf Finishes 11th At Lady Gamecock Classic

COLUMBIA, S.C. -
The Ole Miss women's golf team finished 11th at the 2001 Lady Gamecock Classic, held at the University Club. The Lady Rebels finished with a 54-hole total of 1015 (343-327-345).
Duke won the team championship with a 299-292-296---887. They topped Georgia by five strokes to claim the championship.
Ole Miss' Kerrie Davis tied for 42nd place overall with an 85-82-83---250. Marci Kornegay fired a 54-hole total of 82-82-89---253 to tie for 45th place. Teresa Brown tied for 48th place with an 88-79-87---254. Elizabeth Hoffman finished in 55th place with a 90-84-86---260. Teesha Ash had a 54-hole total of 88-95-89---272 to finish in 59th place.
The Lady Rebels will be back in action on March 30-April 1, when they travel to Athens, Ga., to participate in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
