Barnabas Harris Dismissed from Football Team

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head football coach David Cutcliffe announced here Tuesday that sophomore defensive end Barnabas Harris of Birmingham, Ala., is no longer a member of the Rebel squad.
"Barnabas Harris has been dismissed from the team for violation of a team policy," Cutcliffe said.
Harris, who was redshirted in 1999, appeared in two games last season as the participated against Alabama and Nevada-Las Vegas. He was credited with one assisted tackle against the Crimson Tide.
Prior to signing with Ole Miss, Harris played at Ensley High School in Birmingham.
