OLE MISS TRAVELS TO SOUTH CAROLINA...
Ole Miss (7-7, 1-4) travels to South Carolina Friday to face the No. 26 ranked Gamecocks in a 1:00 p.m. match at the Maxcy Gregg Tennis Center. The Lady Rebels, ranked No. 29 in the latest rankings, are looking for their second SEC win of the season.

SCOUTING SOUTH CAROLINA ...
South Carolina is ranked No. 26 in the nation with a 9-5 overall record, 3-2 in the SEC. They are coming off a 4-3 loss to TCU last Sunday, which snapped a four-match winning streak. The Gamecocks are led by Leigh Eichelberger, who became the school's all-time doubles leader last Friday. South Carolina has dominated doubles play this spring, winning the point in 12 of the 14 matches.

SERIES HISTORY ...
Ole Miss and South Carolina have played 13 times with the Lady Rebels holding a 11-2 advantage in the series. The Lady Rebels only two losses in the series have come in Columbia. Ole Miss downed South Carolina 6-0 last year in Oxford. The last time the two teams met in Columbia (1999), the Lady Rebels won 5-3. Ole Miss has won five in a row since a 5-2 loss to the Gamecocks in 1995.

OLE MISS GOES 1-1 ON LAST ROAD TRIP ...
Ole Miss posted a 1-1 record on its last road trip defeating then No. 18 William & Mary 4-3, before losing to No. 4 Vanderbilt 6-1. The Lady Rebels lost the doubles point against William & Mary, but rebounded quickly to go ahead 3-0 with wins at No. 1, 2, and 6 singles. Freshman Karem Harboe clinched the win at No. 5 singles. Against Vanderbilt, the experienced Commodores were just too much for the young Lady Rebel team. Junior Alesya Ignatieva posted a huge win, upsetting No. 49 ranked Jenny Miller at No. 3 singles for the Lady Rebels' lone win of the day.

NATIONAL RANKINGS ...
Ole Miss is ranked No. 29 in the latest WingspanBank.com ITA National Rankings, released Wednesday. The Lady Rebels are one of eight SEC teams ranked among the top 30. Four teams from the SEC are ranked among the nation's top 10. Individually, sophomore Julie DeRoo is ranked No. 35 and Mira Radu is ranked No. 96 in singles. In doubles, DeRoo and Radu are ranked No. 30.

ON THE COURT ...
Five of Ole Miss' seven losses have come against Top 25 teams...The Lady Rebels are 6-2 when they win the doubles point and 1-6 when they lose the point.
