OLE MISS VS. AUBURN ...
Ole Miss (6-6, 1-3) travels to Auburn, Ala., to face the 69th-ranked Auburn Tigers. The match begins at 2:00 p.m. The Lady Rebels are coming off a 6-1 loss at No. 2 Georgia. Auburn enters the match with a 2-5 record, 1-1 in the SEC. In their last outing, the Tigers lost to South Alabama, 5-2.
SERIES HISTORY ...
Ole Miss and Auburn have met 25 times on the hardcourts with Ole Miss leading the series 17-8. The Lady Rebels have won 11 in a row since 1990, including last year's 7-2 victory in Oxford. The last time the two teams played at Auburn, Ole Miss won 7-2.
OLE MISS FALLS AT NO. 2 GEORGIA ...
The 29th-ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 2 ranked and defending NCAA Champion Georgia, Wednesday afternoon at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Courts. Ole Miss took the early advantage by winning the doubles point. Julie DeRoo and Mira Radu defeated Mariel Verban and Lori Grey, 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. Tina Hojnik and Agata Cioroch of Georgia downed Alesya Ignatieva and Karem Harboe, 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. Audra Adams and Hanna-Katri Aalto won an exciting tiebreaker, 9-8(4) at the No. 3 spot over Anne Nguyen and Christa Grey, to clinch the point. At No. 1 singles, Verban defeated Ole Miss' DeRoo 6-3, 7-6(7). Freshman Katri won the first set against 57th-ranked Lori Grey, 6-3 but lost the second and third sets 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Lady Rebel Radu lost a hard-fought match to 30th-ranked Nguyen, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(5) at the No. 3 position. Georgia won rather easy at the bottom three positions. Hojnik downed Ignatieva 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4 singles, Cioroch dominated Harboe 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Christa Grey cruised to a 6-3, 6-0 win over Adams at No. 6 singles.
NATIONAL RANKINGS ...
Ole Miss is ranked No. 29 in the latest WingspanBank.com ITA National Rankings, released Wednesday. The Lady Rebels are one of eight SEC teams ranked among the top 30. Individually, sophomore Julie DeRoo is ranked No. 28 and Mira Radu is ranked No. 74 in singles. In doubles, DeRoo and Radu are ranked No. 17.

Ole Miss has now won 13 in a row over Mississippi State and leads the all-time series 36-6...Freshman Hanna-Katri Aalto is 5-2 at No. 2 singles...
