Stringfellow Honored At Reception

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss senior Savante' Stringfellow, the first undergraduate at Ole Miss to represent the United States in the Olympics, was honored Tuesday with a reception at the Starnes Training Center. Among those congratulating the student athlete were Chancellor Robert Khayat, Head Track Coach Joe Walker and Athletics Director John Shafer. Representative Jay Eads of Oxford presented Stringfellow with a framed resolution from the Mississippi House of Representatives commending the senior for his accomplishments and University officials also made presentations.
