OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss has sold out of sideline season ticket packages for the 2001 football season with sales of 36,813 being reported. Over the counter sales will begin on Monday, July 30.
"As of July 24, we have taken orders for 36,813 season tickets," said Sans Russell, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations.
This fall's schedule includes Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field dates with Murray State, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Arkansas and Georgia.
With stadium expansion eliminating the south endzone in 2001, the only season tickets remaining are a few hundred north endzone season tickets at $90 each. Over the counter sales will provide Rebel fans with the opportunity to purchase tickets for home games with Murray State, Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee, or road games against Auburn, Kentucky, Arkansas State and Mississippi State as long as supplies last.
Fans wishing to purchase tickets may do so by contacting the Ole Miss Athletic Ticket Office at 888-732-8587 (in state, toll free) or 662-915-7167. Mail orders should be directed to Athletic Ticket Office, P.O. Box 247, University, MS 38677. A $5 shipping fee should be included with each order. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
