Kelli Fisher Joins Volleyball Staff

OXFORD, Miss. - Kelli Fisher, a graduate of Wright State University, has joined the Ole Miss volleyball staff as an assistant coach Lady Rebel head coach John Blair announced Thursday. She replaces Matt Ginipro who left earlier this year to take a position at the University of Virginia.
"We are excited to have Kelli join our staff," Blair said. "She brings enthusiasm and a great playing record at Wright State. She will be a youthful, vibrant addition to our program. We look forward to a long and lasting relationship."
After a four-year career at Wright State University, Fisher has spent the past two years working for NCR in Dayton, Ohio as a business analyst, while also coaching volleyball. She served as head coach for the junior varsity volleyball team at Chaminade-Julienne High School in Dayton, Ohio from August 1999 until recently.
In January of 2000 Fisher became an assistant coach with the Dayton Juniors Volleyball Club and then last spring, joined the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) High Performance Program as an assistant coach. She organized tryouts, practices and game strategies and was responsible for planning the team's trip to the AAU nationals, where they placed fifth.
Fisher was a co-captain of the Wright State volleyball team. She went on to become a member of the Division AA USA Women's Team and the Division BB Championship Team-Gold Division in 2000. She was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Division BB Adult National Championships in 2000.
An outstanding student-athlete at Wright State, Fisher earned Midwestern Collegiate Conference Academic Honors. She made the dean's list every semester, was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and received the Scholar Athlete Award every year during her career.
Fisher graduated Cum Laude from Wright State University in June of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance.
