Ole Miss-Vanderbilt Football Game Rescheduled For December 1

OXFORD, Miss. - ,Ole Miss announced Monday that the Ole Miss-Vanderbilt football game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m., at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field.
The game was originally slated for this past Saturday but was postponed in the wake of last Tuesday's terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C.
The contest was suppose to be televised by Jefferson-Pilot. No information is available at this time concerning television for the December 1 game.
The Southeastern Conference also announced that the two other conference games scheduled for this past Saturday, Tennessee at Florida and Auburn at LSU, have been rescheduled for December 1.
In addition, six non-conference games involving SEC teams were also slated for this past weekend. Make-up dates for those games are still to be determined. This past Saturday's non-conference games involving SEC teams were: Houston at Georgia, Southern Miss at Alabama, Kentucky at Indiana, North Texas at Arkansas, BYU at Mississippi State, and Bowling Green at South Carolina.
With three SEC games now on the ledger for December 1, the SEC Championship game has been pushed back one week to Saturday, December 8. That contest will still be played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
