Whether he is at home or on the football field, senior defensive lineman Kenny Jackson is a family man.

Jackson, a 6-foot-2 New Orleans native, recently married the former Vikesha Forrest of Magnolia, Miss. The couple tied the knot on July 30, and have an 8-month-old son named Khalil (Kenneth III). Jackson also has a two-year old daughter Khloe'. Despite the time demands of going to school and playing college football, Jackson is enjoying being a father and a husband.

"It is tough some times," said Jackson, the Sociology major. "Between playing football and going to school, I have a lot of commitments. But, my family is the most important thing in my life, and I just have to make the time for them."

In addition to his family at home, Jackson also considers himself a part of another family on the Ole Miss campus - his Rebel football "family."

"My teammates are like my brothers," said Jackson. "I know that if times are tough or if I am having any kind of problems, I can go to anyone on this team and they will be there for me."

Jackson and his family of teammates are planning on making his wife and his family at home proud this season by keeping the Rebels among the elite football programs in the country.

"We have worked hard all spring and summer to get ready for this season," said Jackson. "We plan on shocking some people this year."

With plans like that, the "family" of Rebel fans should be happy, too.
