OXFORD, Miss. - Three members of the Ole Miss women's tennis team will compete in the 2002 Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational at Buck Bouldin Tennis Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Oct. 11-13. The event will consist of five singles flights and three doubles flights, each featuring players from 14 different schools.

Ole Miss juniors Sebrina Peppl and Audra Adams will take part in the Flight A singles draw. Florencia Basile will compete in Flight B Singles. Along with singles competition, Peppl and Adams will represent Ole Miss Flight A doubles. After a few weeks in which the trio of Peppl, Adams, and Basile saw limited action, Lady Rebel head coach Mark Beyers sees this weekend's event as a great opportunity for his players.

"These will be good matches and great preparation for the bigger tournaments in the coming weeks," said Beyers. "They need some matches under their belts."

Teams competing in the event include Austin Peay, Ball State, Belmont, Eastern Michigan, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Tennessee Tech, Cincinatti, UAB, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Southern Miss, UT Martin and host Middle Tennessee, in addition to Ole Miss.
