PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Ole Miss women's tennis player Mira Radu charged into the semifinals of the singles main draw Friday at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships.

Radu advanced with her quarterfinals victory over Amber Liu of Stanford, who forfeited at 4-2 in the first set due to injury. In the second round, Radu dominated Alicia Pillay of Tulsa in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1. After the senior's successful day at the Riviera Tennis Club, Lady Rebel assistant coach Whitt Taber had plenty to be excited about.

"We're excited to have Mira in the semifinals of the biggest tournament of the year," said Taber. "Mira has worked very hard and is very deserving in what she's done today. We're looking forward to her continuing on and staking her claim as one of the top players in the nation."
