SERIES NOTES
? With today's win, Ole Miss leads the all-time series versus Arkansas State 18-1-2.
? The Rebels have a 19-game unbeaten streak against the Indians since ASU's 10-0 win in 1915 ... The streak includes two ties, 0-0 in 1917 and 10-10 in 1986.
? Since the 10-10 tie in 1986, Ole Miss has won the last 10 meetings with Arkansas State.

? With three TD passes today, Manning tied Romaro Miller's (1997-2000) Ole Miss career record of 43.
? Manning also moved past Deuce McAllister (1997-2000) for fourth place on the Ole Miss career list for TDs responsible for with 43.
? The 290 yards passing marked his 14th game with at least 200 yards passing, putting him five shy of the Ole Miss career record of 19, set by Romaro Miller (1997-2000).

The last time the Rebels topped 50 points in a regulation contest was when they scored 56 in a win over Indiana State in 1995.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
? The Rebels have intercepted seven passes in the last two games. Ole Miss had three picks today and four interceptions last week vs. Florida.
? The Rebels have 10 interceptions in six games this year. Last season, Ole Miss intercepted a total of 12 passes in 11 games.
? Justin Wade's interception in the third quarter was his first of the season and second of his career.
? Von Hutchins recorded his first two-interception game of his career. Hutchins' first pick came in the second quarter, and his second interception was in the fourth quarter.
? The 13 first downs by Arkansas State marked the fewest Ole Miss has allowed in a game this season ... The previous low was 14 by UL-Monroe (8/31) and Memphis (9/7).
? The Ole Miss defense held Arkansas State to 0-for-4 on third-down conversions in the second half and allowed the Indians to register a first down on only 2-of-7 possessions in the second half.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
? Jonathan Nichols' 50-yard FG in the first quarter was a career long. His previous long was 47 yards in a 31-3 win over Louisiana-Monroe in the 2002 season opener. He is now 4-of-4 in FG attempts of 40 yards or longer.
? Nichols was 7-of-7 on PAT attempts today, tying his career-high for PATs made, which is also tied for second on the Ole Miss single-game list.
? Ole Miss did not attempt a punt today, marking the third time in school history that the Rebels did not attempt at least one punt ... The others were against North Texas on Sept. 22, 1956 and versus Mississippi State on Nov. 26, 1960.
