TROY, Ala. - The Ole Miss doubles pair of Virginia Tomatis and Mira Radu grabbed two victories Saturday before rain postponed play further at the ITA Southern Regionals. The weather forced officials to move the remainder of the event to the University of Alabama's indoor facilities in Tuscaloosa.

Tomatis and Radu, seeded 5th, defeated Sekita Grant and Annelies Schenk of Georgia Tech, 8-1. They would follow up the victory by upending Nathalia Koppelle and Amy McEwan, 8-5.

Lady Rebels Florencia Basile and Karem Harboe were also winners in the first round with their victory against Marcelle Hirt and Magdolna Rekasi of Mississippi State, 8-6. However, the Ole Miss duo would fall in the round of 16 to sixth-seeded Petra Bercik and Carolina Ramirez of Auburn, 8-6.

After receiving a bye to the round of 16, Ole Miss' Audra Adams and Sabrina Peppl would fall to Igna de Villiers and Alex Smith of Miami, 9-7
