OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Justin Reed scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Mississippi held Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a season-low point total in a 71-38 victory on Saturday.
Ole Miss (8-2) improved its home winning streak to 19 games and led by as many as 35 points despite shooting 39.6 percent from the field, including 24 percent in the first half.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-9) had even more trouble shooting than the Rebels. The Golden Lions made none of their 13 3-point attempts and shot only 28 percent from the field.
Ole Miss led 31-14 at halftime, closing the half with an 8-2 run in the final three minutes. Reed led the Rebels with 13 first-half points, including 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.
Ole Miss shot 13-of-23 from the field in the second half, including 4-of-5 from behind the 3-point line. The Golden Lions were outrebounded 47-24 and Ole Miss forced 18 turnovers.
Emmanuel Wade scored 12 points for Ole Miss.
Chris Parker led Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 12 points.
