OXFORD, Miss. - The No. 33 nationally-ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team will host 52nd-ranked Kansas State University Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gillom Sports Center in their final home match before heading out to California for two matches.

The Lady Rebels are 2-0 on the season after opening last weekend with wins over SMU and New Orleans. Mira Radu, ranked No. 25 in the nation, leads the Lady Rebels with a 21-7 overall record, 2-0 in dual matches.

Kansas State enters the match with a 2-1 record. They posted a 7-0 win over San Diego last weekend in Tucson Ariz. The Wildcats dropped a 6-1 decision to Arizona for their only loss on the season.

Kansas State returns five of six starters and two of three complete doubles teams this spring. Leading the way are seniors Alena Jecminkova and Kathy Chuda. Jecminkova, who entered the spring ranked No. 70 in the ITA rankings, is the top returnee for the Wildcats. Last year the Olomouc, Czech Republic, native, became the first K-State player in program history to qualify for two consecutive NCAA Championships and just the third player in Wildcat history to qualify for the tournament.
