Four Rebel Netters Ranked In Singles Rankings

OXFORD, Miss. - Four members of the No. 6 nationally-ranked Ole Miss men's tennis team are ranked in the Omni Hotels Collegiate Singles Rankings released Friday. The individual rankings are based on the ITA points-per-match formula and are released on a bi-weekly basis from now until the end of the season.

Leading the way, is junior All-American Alex Hartman, who is ranked No. 22 in the first individual rankings of the spring. Hartman owns a 9-4 record. He is one of five players from the SEC ranked in the top 25.

Senior Martin Selin made the singles rankings, coming in at No. 82. He has posted wins over the 49th and 51st-ranked players in the nation and is 6-4 overall.

Sophomore Paul Ciorascu is rated No. 96 with a 16-8 record, while Freshman Claes Lindholm is ranked No. 119. Lindholm joined the team in January, and is 7-1 overall and 6-0 in dual matches.

The Rebels begin a four-match road trip March 1 at No. 28 Florida. Following that they will play at No. 31 South Carolina, No. 9 Kentucky and No. 33 Vanderbilt.
