Baseball To Hold Meet The Rebels Day Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss will hold a "Meet The Rebels Day" for the 2002 Ole Miss baseball team Saturday from 11-11:30 a.m., in the main concourse of the Tad Smith Coliseum, near the Ticket Office, prior to the Rebel men's basketball team's game against Arkansas. The basketball game is scheduled for a noon tip-off.
Fans will have an opportunity to receive autographs from Rebel players and coaches, and pick-up free schedule cards and posters.
Following the basketball game, the baseball team will hold an intra-squad scrimmage at 3 p.m., at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field. Schedule cards and posters will also be available at the scrimmage.
Ole Miss, ranked No. 13 in this week's Collegiate Baseball poll, is scheduled to open its 2002 season on Friday, Feb. 15 at home against Jacksonville State. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m, at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
