Cutcliffe Released From Hospital

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head coach David Cutcliffe was discharged from Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi here Friday after spending one day to receive treatment for viral gastroenteritis.

"Coach Cutcliffe is resting at home and we are hopeful he will be able to attend Saturday's spring football scrimmage," said Ole Miss head trainer Tim Mullins. Cutcliffe spent Thursday night in the hospital as he received intravenous fluids for his condition, which was diagnosed as a stomach virus.

Ole Miss continued spring work Friday with an afternoon practice. Spring drills will conclude here Saturday April 6 with the playing of the annual "Grove Bowl" Red-Blue game, set for 6:00 p.m. in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
