Ole Miss In Fourteenth After First Day At UGA

ATHENS, Ga. - ,The Ole Miss women's golf team found itself in the No. 14 spot after a tough first round in which the team fired a 321. The first round score put the Lady Rebels at 33- over par for the day. Competition will resume Saturday morning at 8 a.m. at the University of Georgia golf course. Three Lady Rebels finished the day tied for the No. 47 spot with scores of 80 for the day. Teesha Ash, Lori Cate and Bernadette Luse all paced Ole Miss on the first day of competition. Elizabeth Hoffman fired an 81 to tie for the No. 57 spot, while Kerrie Davis carded an 86 to finish the first round tied for the No. 81 spot. The tournament will continue throughout the weekend with rounds being played on Saturday and Sunday.
