Ole Miss Women's Basketball Banquet Set For Tuesday

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Lady Rebel basketball team will hold its annual postseason awards banquet Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) at Abbeville Catfish in Abbeville. Tickets are $15 each and can be bought at the door. Fans are encouraged to attend.

In addition to dinner, the team awards will be presented at the banquet. In all, seven awards will be handed out, including Best Offensive Player, Best Defensive Player, Playmaker Award, Lady Rebel Award, Most Valuable Player, Scholar Athlete Award and Newcomer of the Year.

The Lady Rebels finished the 2001-02 campaign with an 11-17 overall record and a 3-11 mark in Southeastern Conference play.
