OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's tennis team, coming off the SEC Tournament, is ranked No. 7 in the latest Omni Hotels Collegiate Rankings released Wednesday. The Rebels will find out next week if they will be one of 16 teams to host a NCAA Regional.

Nine teams from the SEC are ranked in the current top 25 with four in the top 10. Despite two losses last week, Georgia held the top spot followed by UCLA, Illinois, Tennessee, Pepperdine, Baylor, Ole Miss, Stanford, Kentucky and California.

The Rebels (17-5) lost to ninth-ranked Kentucky in a tight 4-3 match in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament last weekend in Knoxville. All five of Ole Miss' losses this season have come against teams inside the top 13. The Rebels have a victory over No. 4 Tennessee during the regular season, one of seven top 25 wins.

In the individual rankings, junior Alex Hartman, who earned All-SEC honors for the third time in his career, is ranked No. 23. Senior Kristofer Stahlberg, who also made the All-SEC team, is ranked No. 61. Sophomore Paul Ciorascu is ranked No. 120. In doubles, Stahlberg and Martin Selin are ranked No. 37.

The NCAA pairings and first and second round sites will be announced Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. EST. The Rebels have hosted a regional two out of the last three years.
